A certified Presentation Judge and a nationally certified chorus director trainer, Joe serves as Musical Director of the Big Apple Chorus. He is the former lead of International Finalist quartet Four Under Par, former baritone of Variety Pak, former Musical Director of Long Island’s Twin Shores chorus, and is a busy chorus and quartet coach. In the real world, Joe is a Vice President of software development for JPMorgan Chase Bank.

With over thirty years of teaching experience, Ron has conducted numerous vocal clinics and choral festivals. As a performer, Ron has been heard on WQXR Radio in a broadcast of remembrances of Arturo Toscanini. He has sung a series of solo recitals in Lincoln Center and performed leading operatic roles with the New York Grand Opera. He is also the “designated singer” for the Long Island Association, performing for special guests including Colin Powell, Neil Armstrong and Tom Brokaw.

As the vocal instructor of several Big Apple members (Joe Hunter, Roger Payne, Maurice DeBar, Spencer Goroff for example) and as the vocal coach for our prestigious Reveille, Ron has already influenced the sound and vocal quality of the Big Apple Chorus. In 2004, Ron's services have been officially procured to coach the chorus and its membership throughout the year.

One of his first successes with the Chorus as a whole, was the development and production of our Big Apple Chorus Vocal Improvement Exercise regimen and CD. The exercises and commentary in this CD have already begun to make a mark on the chorus and become a part of the member's daily vocal regime.
